Feasibility Studies
Renewable Energy Studies
Low and Zero Carbon (LZC) Feasibility studies (often known as a Renewable Energy Studies) can help to achieve up to four credits in the Energy section of BREEAM and Code for Sustainable Homes.
LZC Feasibility studies are a way of identifying the most appropriate technology that will reduce CO2 emissions on your building once all traditional solutions have been exhausted.
Sustainable Construction Services advise clients to first reduce energy through passive design, high levels of thermal performance (e.g. insulation) and low energy technologies before considering technologies such as wind turbines, solar hot water panels or photovoltaic (PV) panels. This ensures the most benefit in terms of energy and cost savings.
Sustainable Construction Services are skilled at helping you to choose the best technology that suits your development, whether you are trying to achieve a zero carbon development, targeting Feed-in Tariffs, or simply trying to achieve a Planning application target such as the Welsh Assembly Government's (WAG) Code for Sustainable Homes ENE1 target.
