Matthew is the director of Sustainable Construction Services and one of the UK's leading sustainability experts. He has been successful in designing and delivering a range of sustainable projects. Two of his recent projects have been named amongst the 20 greenest buildings in Britain by Property Magazine.

In recent years Matthew has worked alongside Professor Max Fordham (arguably the leading designer of sustainable projects of the last 30 years), as well as heading up BDP's Sustainability team in Manchester. Initially trained as an engineer, Matthew possesses a wide range of sustainability skills and has been working with the Governement body Envirowise to develop guidance documents.

Matthew is an accomplished Environmental Assessor. He is able to deliver BREEAM, Ecohomes, Code for Sustainable Homes and DREAM assessments. He has championed sustainability within projects that have all achieved 'Very Good' or 'Excellent' sustainability ratings.
